Resolved — GateOS API Performance Degradation

Summary

The degraded API performance incident affecting portions of the GateOS platform has been fully resolved.

During the incident window, users may have experienced:
- Increased API latency
- Intermittent request failures
- Delayed authentication responses
- Slower Vulture Vault synchronization

The issue was traced to elevated backend infrastructure load and database connection saturation during ongoing platform operations.

Resolution

The GateOS infrastructure team implemented the following mitigation measures:
- Rebalanced backend traffic routing
- Increased API worker capacity
- Optimized database connection pooling
- Cleared stalled request queues
- Applied temporary caching optimizations

Following these actions, platform performance metrics returned to normal operating levels.

Security & Data Integrity

At no point during this incident were:
- encrypted vault contents exposed,
- authentication systems compromised,
- or user data integrity affected.

All GateOS encryption and security systems remained fully operational throughout the event.

Current Status

All GateOS API services are operating normally and continue to be monitored for stability.

GateOS is currently investigating an ongoing issue affecting the Voice Room infrastructure. Users may experience difficulty joining Voice Rooms, unexpected session disconnections, failed room creation attempts, or degraded real-time voice connectivity.

Our engineering team has identified instability within portions of the real-time communication infrastructure and is actively working to restore full service availability.

Current observations include:

Intermittent Voice Room connectivity failures
Increased RTC negotiation timeouts
Delayed room synchronization events

At this time:

No data loss has been detected
Authentication systems remain operational
Encrypted communication security has not been impacted
Other GateOS platform services continue operating normally

Mitigation efforts are currently underway, and we are closely monitoring platform recovery and stability.
